Role: Designer
Contributions: Design Asset Kit Creation, Event and Expo Graphics, Social Media Banner Templates, Display Banners, Mobile App Design, and Event Merchandise.
Event design system and guidelines creation for VMware Explore, a global technology conference with 10,000 attendees. The VMware Explore 2023 design system continues to be centered around vision, innovation and the multi-cloud universe, full of surprising elements and bright opportunities.
Fresh, new faces represent the perspectives of VMware’s rich community of customers, partners, experts and innovators and their unique vision for the future.
Bold, colorful landscapes contain surprises— Kubernetes sunrises, butterfly apps and rainbows of choice. Reflections of these unexpected worlds in lenses are metaphors for the limitless possibilities in the multi-cloud universe.
Lenses and Faces
I worked closely with an illustrator to conceptualize the faces of Explore 2023. Within numerous brainstorms and working sessions, collectively we landed on five unique landscapes. From there, I took the final artwork; reworked and evolved into a massive marketing internal and external promotion. I created the lens artwork seen below.
